Editable content
Text boxes, images, buttons, formatting, color, stacking order, object timing and picture crops.
Editable Storyline output
StoryDraft turns an extraction pack, a Word storyboard (.docx), or a ZIP of documents and images into an editable Articulate Storyline project. Text stays text. Pictures stay pictures. Questions, variables, triggers, timing and motion are written into the native .story file.

More than slides
Text boxes, images, buttons, formatting, color, stacking order, object timing and picture crops.
Player controls, course outline, custom menus and buttons, named slide jumps and Exit actions.
Text, number and true/false variables, assignment triggers, native text entry fields and numeric sliders.
Normal, Hidden and Hover states. Click, timeline and player events with native Storyline actions.
StoryDraft preserves source-supported learner interactions that can be represented as native Storyline behavior. Source scripts and complex action chains are preserved for manual review when not natively expressible.
Motion that stays editable
Automatic Fade entrances for compatible text objects when source evidence is clear.
Pre-wired native motion paths (Line, Arc, Turn, Square, Trapezoid) with editable default points ready to fine-tune in Storyline.
Native Pulse and Bounce emphasis animations wired to learner click triggers, fully editable in Storyline without JavaScript.
Supported between modules with source-confirmed Fade/Push guidance.
Questions, feedback and results
Questions can include points, shuffling, answer keys and correct/incorrect feedback. Keep question assessments as practice, or preserve existing review/score flow when it is present in the source.
Built from source evidence
StoryDraft carries forward source wording, answer keys, images and order when the evidence is there. Missing images, empty interactions and unsupported nonempty interaction data are called out instead of disappearing.
Word storyboards can drive image placement, native form inputs, Fade entrances and module transitions. The conversion report records those choices and their source references.

Feature matrix
The boundaries are here on purpose. They keep the output predictable and the claims honest.
Editable text, PNG/JPEG images, buttons, formatting, colors, bounds, stacking, timing and picture crops.
Next, Previous, named jumps, Exit, outline, player controls and custom menu/button navigation.
Text, number and boolean variables; assignment; native text entry and sliders.
Click, timeline start/end and player events with native jump and variable/state actions.
Normal and Hidden object states, plus native button Normal and Hover visuals.
JavaScript-heavy behaviors are surfaced as review notes when they need manual migration.
Native Fade entrances, module transitions, pre-wired motion paths, and learner-triggered Pulse/Bounce emphasis are generated.
Native question types are supported with source-linked options, then scored per Storyline behavior.
Know the boundary
It does not currently expose native conditional-trigger editing, Morph matching, arbitrary motion easing, animation chains, looping, paragraph-by-paragraph animation or arbitrary redesign of native quiz layouts. JavaScript can contain its own conditions, but that is different from editable native Storyline trigger conditions. LMS publishing behavior, every Storyline version and accessibility certification still require separate testing.
